Not everything is green in the Evergreen State. Eastern Washington has a semi-arid climate and agriculture is the chief business. This half of the state has its own beauty, distinct and different from the western Washington. I grew in up in Spokane, the largest city in eastern Washington, and still like to visit the dry side for unique images of the "Evergreen State." Photographic hint for eastern Washington - think Spring; you'll be amazed at the flowers and colors spring can bring to this dry land.
