The American Southwest is a land of raw beauty - red rocks, cliffs, ancient Indian ruins, mountains, deserts, and big skies. This gallery presents images I captured in the heart of the American Southwest - Nevada and Utah. Photographs are from the Arches, Canyonlands, and Capital Reef National Parks, Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and Dead Horse Point and Goblin Valley State Parks. I love the Southwest so much, I named my photo business after an Edward Abbey character from Utah, Seldom Seen Smith.
