Having your portrait taken should be a fun, no stress experience.
You get to pick an outdoor location, pick what to wear, who and what to
bring; in other words, you are in charge. Tell me what you want, and I
will try to make it work.
Location: You can pick any outdoors location within a reasonable
drive of Tacoma, though if you want to go further out, we can arrange
that too. If you want, I can suggest a few locations; there are some
great beaches and parks nearby. Sessions run about two hours.
Clothing and Props: I’m totally flexible on the number of
outfits you want to wear; though we typically limit the session to two
hours, so it's best to keep the number of changes reasonable. Usually,
it is best to keep your clothing simple. Solid colors photograph well;
it’s best to avoid stripes and wild patterns. Bring any props you
want: sports gear, a musical instrument, your car, or the family pet. |
Proofs: A week or so after the shoot, I’ll give you a CD with 50
or more photographs to choose from. This is yours to keep, even if you
don’t order any portraits. No retouching is done on the proofs.
The images on the CD will be suitable for emailing or placement on
Facebook or MySpace.
Retouching: Most of us aren’t perfect, though I’m
sure this doesn’t apply to you. On any 5x7 or larger print you
order, I’ll do some facial retouching, removing blemishes,
circles under your eyes, that type of thing. I’ll have you
looking good!
Guarantee: I want you to love your portrait. If you aren’t
happy with my work, I will retake the photographs, if it’s
practical, or refund your money. |

Ordering: The session/sitting fee is $75, but this does include a $25
credit if you order a portrait package. The session fee payment is due
prior to doing the shoot. When ordering prints, 50% payment is due at

3.5x5 inches and printed on 8.5x11 or
