Seldom Seen Photography specializes in outdoor portraits. Having a portrait taken should be a fun, no stress experience. You get to pick a location, pick what to wear, who and what to bring; in other words, you are in charge. Tell me what you want, and I will try to make it work. I'm available to come to the location of your choice, be it your home garden, a local park, or the family farm. Or I can suggest a few locations - there are plenty of great spots in the South Sound area. Sessions normally last about two hours.

Prices:

Sitting fee: $95 for a two-hour session

CD with Proofs: no cost

Printed Proofs: $3.00 each; images are approximately 3.5x5 inches and printed on 8.5x11 or 11x17 inch sheets.

Package A: $100 one pose; includes one 8x10, two 5x7s, two 4x5s, and 16 wallets

Package B: $170 one or two poses; includes one 8x10, four 5x7s, six 4x5s, and 24 wallets

Package C: $320 up to three poses; includes one 11x14, two 8x10s, six 5x7s, six 4x5s, and 48 wallets

Package D: $445 up to four poses: includes one 16x20, two 8x10s, eight 5x7s, eight 4x5s, and 64 wallets

Prices do not include sales tax. Extra fees may apply for travel distances greater than 25 miles. Sessions lasting more than two hours will be charged an additional $30/hour. Prices effective March 2011 and are subject to change without notice.

Proofs are normally available about a week the shoot. For a typical session, I’ll give you a CD with 50 or more photographs to choose from. This is yours to keep, even if you don’t order any portraits. No retouching is done on the proofs. The images on the CD will be suitable for emailing or placement on Facebook.

Retouching is available on any print ordered. I’ll typically do some facial retouching, removing blemishes, circles under your eyes, that type of thing.

Guarantee: I want you to love your portrait. If you aren’t happy with my work, I will retake the photographs, if it’s practical, or refund your money.
